We all know how hard setting up and running our own businesses are, it is in many senses comparable to success in sports – you need to get results that are measured external to yourself! It’s always useful to have specific information that helps you to succeed.
An amazing quote
In my coaching practise, I came across an amazing quote from Serena Williams you will like. I knew she was super successful at tennis but not much more. I pondered on her quote and it really resonated:
A champion is defined not by their wins but by how they can recover when they fall.
Serena Williams played tennis for every day for 30 years and she had a coach. Yet when things really went bad with her injuries and health she went to different coaches to get her through that – the realisation that you need this is part of the key.

The mind-set of a champion
Serena attributes her success to working towards her goals and never giving up. Sounds simple enough however, she’s had downs when things have impacted her and the lesson is she got back up and that’s the part where you have not really given up – these are momentary issues we all experience in life. Stay calm and believe in yourself!
Stay Positive
The aim is to always improve and one especially superior way to do that is to surround yourself with positivity- friends, family, high integrity employees that share your values. You must be hungry for success and you must take one step at a time. This way you can prepare yourself mentally and train hard!
